'83: Here's how Deepika Padukone transformed into Romi Dev for Ranveer Singh starrer

Ranveer Singh starrer '83 has been in the headlines ever since the movie was announced. The movie stars the actor in the lead as Kapil Dev. After the trailer reveal of '83, the makers shared the first look of Deepika Padukone as Romi Dev. The actress is known for getting into the skin of any character she portrays and she has done it again in a cameo role playing Kapil Dev's wife.

In a couple of photographs released online, Deepika Padukone is seeing a salon trying on different wigs for the role. The actor is dressed in a white top. In another picture, her reflection can be seen in the mirror.

The pairing of the real-life duo of Ranveer and Deepika with their flawless chemistry will once again be seen as Kapil and Romi Dev. Deepika has perfectly essayed the role of Romi Dev with her timeless look.

The film is produced by Deepika Padukone, Kabir Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Sajid Nadiadwala, Phantom Films, Reliance Entertainment and 83 Film Ltd. '83 is directed by Kabir Khan. A Reliance Entertainment and PVR Pictures release slated on 10th April 2020 in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.
