Off The Record: Farhan Akhtar breaks down Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara's scene when he meets Naseeruddin Shah for the first time

Filmmakers Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti's production house Tiger Baby Films has launched new series on YouTube called Off The Record. This series will feature some behind the scenes narrations from the cast about certain scenes that left an impact on people.

"We make films for the silver screen but the little stories that make the big picture don’t always come through," a description on YouTube read.

"Here's introducing our Off The Record series where cast and crew from the Tiger Baby clan let us in on what went into creating some of their best scenes, what their psychology was in that moment and why this particular scene will always remain unforgettable to them," it further read.

The series began with Farhan Akhtar narrating the pivotal scene from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara where his character Imran meets his biological father played by Naseeruddin Shah. The actor breaks down the entire scene, what was written in the script, the thought process behind it and how he approached the scene since he was nervous to film opposite Naseeruddin.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara starred Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif, Kalki Koechlin. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film released in 2011.
