One Direction members re-follow Zayn Malik on social media amid reunion rumours, #1DOnlineConcertStayAtHome trends on Twitter

Could 2020 be the year of One Direction reunion? The British Boyband featuring Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan kicked off their career after their stint on X-Factor, 10 years ago. Since then, Zayn parted ways with the band as the four members continued their journey before calling it quits. But, it seems like the reunion is on the way.

According to Page Six, the five members are reportedly planning a reunion that could be a TV performance or a new single. Amid reunion rumours, Directioners began to trend #OneDirectionReunion and #1DOnlineConcertStayAtHome hashtags on Twitter on Monday after the Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan re-followed Zayn Malik on Twitter. He is yet to follow them back.

“We’ve got a 10-year anniversary coming up so we’ve all been speaking together a lot over the last few weeks which has been really nice,” Payne told the Sun recently, “There’s a number of different things that we are all working on to try and make happen and people are forwarding emails around.”

“I think it’ll happen at some point, we’d be stupid not to,” Louis Tomlinson said on British TV series The One Show in January while promoting his debut album 'Walls'.

Now, we just wait for the official announcement.
