Salman Khan slams violators of lockdown - "If you don’t step out with friends, police wouldn’t hit you"
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who has been urging everyone to stay indoors amid lockdown, has slammed the violators of the law. In a new video shared on his Instagram, he spoke at length about putting family and friend's lives at risk during this Coronavirus pandemic.
Salman Khan spoke about how a friend went to get ration for his family when he was stopped by the cops. He removed his mask to speak to them and when he returned home, even Salman said that removing the mask was a bad call. He spoke about people who are stepping our unnecessarily are putting people's lives at risk. He said that this is the reason the cases in India have increased whereas China has come out of the bad phase.
Salman further spoke about violators of the lockdown and the reason cops are getting strict. “Agar aap bahar nahi nikal rahe hote apne dost aur yaaron ke saath, toh policewaale aapke putto pe danda nahi maar rahe hote (If you don't step out with friends, police wouldn’t hit your behinds with canes). Do you think the police is enjoying it?,” he said.
“Doctors aur nurses aapki jaan bachaane ke liye aaye aur aapne unpe patthar barsa diye (You started pelting stone at doctors and nurses who wanted to save your lives?)” he questioned. “Those who have been diagnosed with coronavirus, are running away from the hospitals. Where are you running? Towards life or death?,” he added.
Salman, on Wednesday, also shared a message of communal harmony amid this difficult time. He shared a photo of two men from different religions praying at home and setting a great example. The actor is currently at his Panvel farmhouse with some of his family members.
