Abhishek Bachchan reveals why 2006 holds a special place in his life especially his film Umrao Jaan

Actor Abhishek Bachchan has been going down the memory lane celebrating his 20 years n the film industry. On Thursday, the actor penned a post about the year 2006 and why it holds a special place in his heart as he had three releases - Umrao Jaan, Dhoom 2, and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.

The actor wrote that Umrao Jaan is very special to him as he fell in love with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He wrote, "#RoadTo20, Year-2006 #KabhieAlvidaNaKehna #UmraoJaan #Dhoom2. All three films hold a very special place in my heart. KANK was my first collaboration with @iamsrk @karanjohar and @realpz. My third with @amitabhbachchan and my fourth with Rani. All dear friends and colleagues I’ve learnt so much from. Umrao Jaan was my third film with JP saab and my third too with @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb and @suniel.shetty. JP Films is like home for me and working with them always seems to be more of a holiday than work."

He further wrote, "Umrao is very special to me also because.... well you know why!"

Umrao Jaan released in 2006 and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot in 2007.
