“You are the reason I try to multitask,” writes Ayushmann Khurrana paying tribute to Kishore Kumar on Guru Purnima

On the occasion of Guru Purnima, Ayushmann Khurrana took to social media to pay tribute to his Guru- Kishore Kumar. Along with a picture of the late actor-singer, the National Award Winning actor penned beautiful lines paying the perfect tribute to the legend. 

“Your songs have been my companion in every season and for every reason. You have been my biggest inspiration. You are the reason I try to multitask with my entire craft - not just acting, but also singing and writing. I aspire to be better at all this with every passing day. You have been my guru. Kishore Kumar you are and always will be an evergreen legend. #GuruPurnima,” he wrote.

Ayushmann Khurrana, along with being a tremendous actor, has also aced in singing just like Kishore Kumar. A few years back, Ayushmann Khurrana had expressed his desire to play the role of Kishore Kumar in the latter’s biopic. Back then filmmaker Anurag Basu had announced the film on Kishore Kumar. However, there has been no development on that front.
