2 Years Of Kesari: Akshay Kumar says it was an absolute honour to do the film

Actor Akshay Kumar celebrated two year anniversary of his film Kesari on Sunday. The Anurag Singh directorial released on March 21, 2019. It starred Parineeti Chopra opposite Akshay.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Akshay Kumar shared a small video clip from the film and wrote, "10,000 invaders vs 21 Sikhs! This one line was enough for me to do the film, and what an absolute honour it was. Celebrating #2YearsOfKesari."

Recently, the song 'Teri Mitti' from the film reached 1 billion views on YouTube. "#TeriMitti is more than just a song...it’s a feeling which now resonates with more than one billion hearts! Thank you for the ♥️," Akshay had written on Twitter.

Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari will feature Akshay Kumar in the role of Havildar Ishar Singh who led the Sikh army against the Afghans in this 1897 battle.
