Alia Bhatt looks ethereal as Sita in the first look of SS Rajamouli's RRR

The makers of this year's most awaited movie RRR are back with yet another big reveal from the film. As Alia Bhatt turned a year older today, marking the occasion, the makers have released the first look of Alia Bhatt on her birthday.

"Strong-willed and resolvent SITA's wait for Ramaraju will be legendary! Presenting @aliaa08 as #Sita to you all :)" the tweet read. The actress also shared the look and simply captioned it as Sita. With a small bindi and a moon-like shaped locket, Alia's Sita in a red and green saree looks like she was meant to play the part. With diyas in the background and hope in her eyes, Alia waits for her Ramaraju.

RRR features the likes of Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt with lead actors Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. Helmed by SS Rajamouli, the film is the director's next after the grand 'Baahubali' series. RRR comes out in theatres on October 13, 2021.
