Bigg Boss OTT: Ridhi Dogra, Raqesh Bapat's ex-wife, is rooting for him while he struggles on the show

Despite the fact that Raqesh Bapat and Ridhi Dogra divorced a few years ago, their friendship remains strong. Raqesh, who is currently a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT, has found a cheerleader in his ex-wife. On the Karan Johar-hosted reality show, the Married Woman actor has been supporting Raqesh and also assisting the audience in decoding his behaviour.

The host recently chastised the Tum Bin star for being weak and not taking a stand on the show. Raqesh defended himself by saying that he hadn't been watching the show and that it would take some time for him to get into the swing of things. The actor is perhaps the only contestant who has yet to have a brawl with another contender.

In a tweet, Ridhi praised Raqesh's behaviour on the reality show, saying that he has been striving to keep everything clean and simple. She went on to say that it's a trait that's difficult for a world that's lost sight of humanity to comprehend. She wrote, “Being loud and making everyone about one’s self unfortunately is considered entertainment. Outside in the world and inside the house!”

There are a handful of them who still believe in goodness and humanity, said the actor, “By virtue of choosing good, one is a winner. And that’s that! #RaqeshBapat and #ShamitaShetty good going.”

Ridhi put a similar message on the post after Raqesh Bapat's team shared a video of him declaring that he is an army man's kid who will only fight for the right. “By virtue of choosing goodness and humanity one is a winner. Being loud and twisting words and not letting people speak is unfortunately considered entertainment in this world. But there some of us on the side of humanity. And that’s what matters! @raqeshbapat,” she shared.

On the set of Maryada: Kabse Kab Tak, Raqesh and Ridhi met. After a brief courtship, the two married in May 2011. The pair announced their split in a statement after seven years of marriage which read, “Yes, we are living separately. This decision has been taken with mutual respect and care for each other and our families.”

They added, “We are two best friends who may not be a couple anymore. But our friendship will continue as it always has, through thick and thin. Appreciate if no further speculation is made and heartfelt gratitude to everyone for all the love you have always given us.”
