EXCLUSIVE: “Unknown can be most scary”, Vaani Kapoor on Afghanistan crises VS Bellbottom

Actress Vaani Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with YRF's romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance opposite the late Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra in 2013. She climbed up the ladders of success with films like Befikre opposite Ranveer Singh and War with Hrithik Roshan. She is all geared up to showcase her magic again by playing a brief role in Akshay Kumar starrer Bellbottom. The actress will play the role of Akshay's wife in the film and was praised for their sizzling chemistry on-screen.

Bellbottom is an action thriller based on the real-life hijacking events in India by Khalistani separatists during the 1980s, such as the Indian Airlines Flight 423, 405, and 421 hijackings.

When Bollywood Hungama asked Vaani Kapoor that as the little part of the film is around hijacks and hijacking of planes, in terms of plane elements and the visuals coming out from Kabul airport right now. Did she see any parallels between your movie and the visuals that are coming right now? On this, the actress replied that the human emotion, the kind of worry and the kind of annoying of what is going to happen, what's going to hold for your future is something one can derive from it. The situation is very worrisome and unknown and the unknown can be most scary. That really gives her a flashback or similarity between the two.
