Over the years Kapil Sharma, comedian, actor, and popular host, has become a household name thanks to The Kapil Sharma Show. However, the comic show went off air after Sharma stated that he wanted to take some time off. But, recently, reports surfaced that Kapil would soon be returning with the latest season of the show.

Taking to social media on Tuesday evening, Kapil Sharma shared photos of the new set of The Kapil Sharma Show. Kapil Sharma recently shared a photo of himself with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. On the set of the show, Akshay was promoting his next period thriller Bellbottom. In the photo, Akshay can be seen attempting to grab Kapil's feet. The caption of the picture implied that Khiladi Kumar was seeking Kapil's approval ahead of the theatrical debut of Bellbottom. Akshay had replied to Kapil's post with a funny retort, claiming that he was looking for Kapil's brain in his knees.

The show will premiere on Sony TV on August 21 with its new season.
