Kiara Advani opens up about getting a seal of approval from Dimple Cheema and Vikram Batra's family

Actress Kiara Advani received a lot of praises from the audience as well as from her co-artists for portraying the character of Dimple Cheema with grace and elegance in Shershaah. The actress essayed the role of Captain Vikram Batra's girlfriend and fiancée in the film. While die-hard fans of the actress have given their verdict on the film, Kiara recently revealed how real-life Dimple Cheema reacted to the movie.

Dimple Cheema was one such unsung hero who needed to be addressed to the audience as she was going to get married to Captain Vikram Batra but the Kargil War changed her life forever. After Captain Vikram Batra's tragic demise she vowed to remain unmarried for her whole life. Shershaah also showcases Dimple Cheema and Vikram Batra's immortal love along with his great deeds.

Kiara Advani opened up about Dimple Cheema's reaction to the movie and said that she was melted by the film's songs. She also revealed that when she met Captain Batra’s family they found her quite similar to Dimple Cheema. It was an emotional moment for the actress after hearing this and understood her hard work has borne results. The actress is extremely happy that Dimple Cheema liked the songs and feels grateful that people can connect with the film.

Kiara will next be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 alongside Kartik Aaryan in the film and Mr. Lele with Vicky Kaushal in lead.
