Govinda appears on The Kapil Sharma Show with his family

This weekend actor Govinda will join The Kapil Sharma Show team along with wife Sunita and daughter Tina as the star guest. His son Yashvardhan will make a special appearance. The family will be seen having a lot of fun with comedian Kapil and his cast.

Govinda will talk about his more than three-decade long journey in Bollywood. He will also share some interesting stories from his shooting days. The team will be seen celebrating the superstar’s legacy with kids dancing to his popular numbers.

During the ‘Social Media Scoops’ segment of the show, where Kapil reads hilarious comments from the guest’s social media posts, he came across a post of Govinda in which he shared a picture with his co-star from Aankhen, the monkey. In the caption he wrote, “27 years of #Aankhen”. One of the comments in the post read, “Bandar isiliye dukhi hai kyunki ise Govinda ji ke sir par jue nei mili (The monkey is sad as he did not find any lice on Govinda’s head)”, which made Archana Puran Singh and Govinda laugh out loud. The audience is super excited for the upcoming episode.

While nephew Krushna Abhishek will be missing from the episode, his bestie and partner Sudesh Lehiri will receive wishes and appreciation from Govinda. As per a source, Govinda told Sudesh that the way he is doing well in Kapil’s show, he will go on to achieve much more in his career. His words made Sudesh emotional as he hugged the star and thanked him.

Comedian Krushna recently confirmed that he will not feature in the upcoming episode as he has been trying to accommodate the show as well as his upcoming film. While he has usually been able to do so, he decided to not change the dates for this episode which will feature his uncle Govinda.

According to his conversation with a tabloid, Krushna said that since the past 15 days he had been travelling between Raipur and Mumbai to shoot for his film and Kapil’s show. But when he learnt that Govinda and family would the star guests in the upcoming episode, he didn’t want to be a part of it and therefore didn’t adjust the dates. He believes that maybe both parties don’t wish to share the stage.
